Brad,
So was there any specific place that Gnomania is based off of or was it just a random made up place? Seems that Gnorm has an obsession with poo whether it be squirrel or bird. Are any of the characters based on yourself?
“As the Grass Grows” is a very humorous comic strip. I love how Gnorm’s complex use of words and sentence structure. He talks so intelligently and at the same time is naive to the world.
@Angela
Gnomania wasn’t based on anywhere specific… just made everything up.
There aren’t any characters based on me, but I probably put different parts of my personality in each of tham.
Clearly something that those late in childhood or older can enjoy. You are extremely creative in showing the confusion, and sometimes delusions that “Gnorm” struggles with. Great comic strip, thanks.

Thanks for the comments. One of the inspirations for Gnorm was “Deluded Buzz” Lightyear from the first Toy Story movie.
