200
December 6th, 2010Wow, 200 strips. One hundred was a big deal for me… two hundred is huge. It’s been a bit of a bumpy ride over the last year with some things going on in my life, but it’s always nice to take a step back and look over the state of the strip to see how far it’s come. After doing this 200 times, it’s pretty crazy how different things look (almost hard to look at the early strips). All in all, it’s been a pretty great year. The first book was published (still have a really good sale going on, by the way), I had a lot of fun at the Baltimore Comic Con, I launched the redesigned site, and got a bit more focused on the strategy of the strip.
I’m really looking forward to what’s coming up for Gnorm and I’m also pretty excited for some other projects I’ve started working on as well – 2011 should be a fun year. So I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for continuing to read and support As the Grass Grows. Especially my wife, Sarah, for not only being my biggest fan, but also keeping me from getting down on myself when things were tougher than I would like. If you have the urge to create a comic strip and publish it on a regular basis online, I highly recommend having an awesome and supportive wife

Congratz Brad! 200 strips is an accomplishment, especially for a quality strip!
Be proud!
Thanks Daniel!
And by the way, everyone should go read Monster Commute right now! Unless you don’t like good comics and really awesome art.
